Clive Benney has been collecting old photographs and postcards of the St Agnes area for thirty years.

He has used these together with his encyclopaedic knowledge of St Agnes to produce, in picture and in commentary, a unique series of books that capture the villages and the people as they used to be.

In 1995 he was made a Cornish Bard for his work in the field of local history.
